I think it’s time to go shopping for new workout clothes! Old Navy, anyone?

Friday: Since my income now permits, I’ll be training 3x a week with my trainer (previously we were training 2x/week). And because my schedule has changed, my workout days will either be around 5 - 6 days a week now. But, for sure, I want to get at least 2-3 days of cardio into my routine. William (my trainer) and I still have a goal to have me at 160 by my birthday in May, so we have a little less than 5 weeks to get me there. The last time I weighed in, I was at 171. But during these few weeks, I was very bad! I didn’t work out at all, unless I was with my trainer and my diet has not been perfect in the least bit! But, after working out two days in a row (today and yesterday) with William, I’ve gotten back to where I needed to be. I was really distracted from my normal habits in the last month, you know, dating and work and headaches, not ideal. So, I did fall off. But, I started following fit girls on Instagram and even finding the inspiration in myself, with the help of co-workers — My managers, and co-workers have been cheering me on so much lately! They’ve been giving me heartfelt compliments on how far I’ve come from the day I started and how great I look. It’s definitely been motivating me to get back to where I need to be! I’m so determined to reach my short-term and long-term goals!

Going to be going grocery shopping soon and going to purchase a blender, so my mother and I can start making protein drinks, etc. I cannot wait to start back to the clean delicious eating that I’ve missed and have been craving lately. No more Jamaican and African food, lol!

I want a butt like this, where did I go wrong?
I’ve tried to lose weight so many times in the past. If I hadn’t given up, I’d already be at my goal weight by now. That’s what I need to keep reminding myself every time I feel like I want to give up. Because if I do give up, five months from now, I’ll be saying the same exact thing. I’m not going to let that happen. I’m going to get to my goal weight, no matter what. I can do this. We can all do this.

Here’s a quick workout for those of you who can’t make it to the gym because of work, school, kids etc. Start with a (5) Minute warm up of jumping jacks. First excersize (4) Sets of (25) each leg Stationary Lunges. Second excersize (4) Sets of (25) body weight squats. Third excersize (4) Sets of (25) Incline push ups (use a chair if you don’t have a bench) Forth excersize (4) Sets of (25) Dips. Finish off with a (5) Minute session of Jumping jacks. Men double the Reps if you guys can handle it 😜 Don’t forget to use Hashtag #ValFit to keep track of your progress and my favorite excersizes and meals. 💪😘👊💢
